Yea, it's wild. I'm honestly anticipating the podium cladding for this project, will be a pretty strong presence on the street. The balcony glass is something I'm really hoping won't be a miss in terms of design.

The cladding so far isn't great but, isn't too bad either. The balcony glass and podium should turn out okay. More like Exhibit than Emerald something in North York.

Never thought I would see the day...I'm more interested in proposal projects than UC projects.

Not sure if you're kidding but the tall thin building is the 272M tall Aura, the 198M YC Condos is on the right hand side.

The Selby Miniscule and (Boring) update

Just to mention a project not greatly posted about for a few weeks, The Selby is really starting to climb. By the time this year ends, the Selby {#28,165.6 metres} will be topped out and mostly red with brick. I have no update but UT shows a fair bit of brick just starting to climb up the tower, and supposedly windows are just now being installed.

Have we even done a single update on that tower?

A red brick tower 165 meters. Sounds ridiculous when you say it in your head.
Lol!

I provided an update to the Selby, but that was a while back, not sure when exactly at this point.

The Selby is actually precast panels stamped to look like bricks - you can see in the pics on UT

I know that, but it's not a completely alien to brick......one could simply say it's a brick clad tower and they wouldn't necessarily be correct or incorrect.

The edge of the panel suggests clay tiles adhered to the concrete panel than just stamped concrete.
