How is JPX near the Fox theater progressing? I've been out of town and don't see anyone posting progress pics of the building.

1052 West Peachtree seems to be the street address - across the street from Steamhouse Lounge, before the post office ( which, itself. would seem to be on GT Foundation's radar ).

God bless Georgia Tech for making Midtown - all areas of Midtown - their own.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see City of Atlanta tax revenue calculations behind GTF's land and development acquisitions before and since Technology Square envisioned ?!

Didn't vertical construction just start this winter? 3-4 months was probably overly optimistic anyway.

The claim was made well after construction started. At the time, it was already going vertical. It wouldn't be that weird if it were just a few floors short, but they're nowhere near that.

Yeah I pointed out this awful estimate on this board several times before. Back in January they said they'd have the tower topped out by the end of April. Since they're on floor 7, I see no way they're going to complete another 14 or 15 floors in 5 weeks.

They surely missed it on the timeline, but I admire JPX speed with getting both the Midtown and Buckhead project going. Furthermore, Hanover also starts all of their proposed projects with tremendous speed. Is this because they finance their own projects?

They seem to be completing about a floor a week. This pic is about a week old. http://imgur.com/a/VxB3k

BTW - GREAT things happening in terms of retail at this end of Peachtree. Commercial at 715 Peachtree and Trace apartments will be full by late spring / summer!

I'm so happy about the density, but so saddened at how small the sidewalks and street presence will be from this picture. Dang you are nearly on the street from the sidewalk.

But when new buildings are built, the sidewalks are widened. The sidewalk by Atlantic House seems to be twice as wide as it was before. And the same will be happening on the Apogee side of the road.

It'll be possum and/or woodchuck for us.
