Looks like the blue netting has gotten back up to the level of the highest steel. So, we are at something like 1170'? putting us 200' from topping out?

The Tower is currently on the 90th floor and has been since early December so the height is 1,130' 8" to floor 90 and almost 1,140' with the splices. The top or 105th floor will be 1,334' 8" and the parapet goes up to 1,368'.

I'm with you NewYorker2009 this is ridiculous they should be an urgency to get this freaking project done on a timely matter, it has been over a month since any vertical steel has gone up...

Amen Brother. As i've explained a few times already, mechanical floors take longer. I won't repeat why again,as it's getting repetitive. It's a good thing that the construction pace doesn't go as fast as the people who complain seem to think it should. When people start to get rammy, people get hurt and even killed. I'm sorry but it's not worth someone getting killed for ANY building. I've been in this racket long enough to see the results of impatience. Keep you knickers on people, the building will top out. Maybe not when you'd like it to,but it will get there.

The glass is now at floor 70 from what I've seen on the Earthcam and the fantastic shots Carlos posted, so it's at 853' 4". The 72nd floor will bring the glass up to 880', which is the perfect octagon floor so the glass is almost Beekman Tower's height.

Thank you Carlos and NewYorker2009 or your help intel! I am happy to know the official progress! Also good to see the netting reach the VERY top! This means that they should be more than ready for more steel come the proper time...

DCM is having some financial problems, if things don't get better in a relative short time, it will sure get out of the game and the PA will hire another construction manager. Besides, decking hasn't even put into place... don't expect any steel erection in the next two weeks.

I hope it's not two weeks...throughout this whole forum people are making these assumptions that never happen, like right after the last jump, people said that it'll be two weeks but look where we are now. Also, why does everyone keep saying a different current height right now? It's always 1,130ft, 1,140, 1,145, 1,138...

The decking for highest floor doesn't appear to be in place. Normally isn't this done before the steel goes up for the next floors?

Just curious, I'm sorry everyone for my questions but I'm not very good with the construction steps, but what is decking, splices etc?
