Vancouver July Sun - A video by Metro-One

Hello

Today (July 19th) was so beautiful that after filming a short job downtown this morning I rode my bike around the sea wall for a couple of hours and filmed the summer city life for fun.

Tonight I quickly edited together the shots into this 3 minute video.

Please enjoy!

I want to make a series of videos for fun.

Cheers

Yeah, music is hard to find though, wish I could actually compose my own soundtrack. But it is no more epic that the famous music from the Seoul Video, or countless other city videos / promos I have seen with daily life.

All the copy right free music I have is even worse (although I use it for company promo videos all the time though)

PS - Can you ever say anything nice? It was actually a lot of work to do this, and no one else on here ever seems to create their own videos beyond a shaky dash cam.

I wonder if people here actually know how hard it is to get some of these shots, especially when trying to avoid people looking at or interacting with the camera. I think I succeeded in getting natural activity pretty well.

At least I am trying!

Nice work, Metro-One.

I'm just starting to get back in to filming again (just bought a Nikon D800E last week, and have been having a ball with the video function. The quality it produces is fantastic), and man, is it hard to get nice, natural shots without people messing around in the frame. Mad respect for this video. It requires A LOT of practice and patience to get everything to look 'normal'.
