A 500'ft turd that adds height to the skyline,w/o the Chase the Devon tower would stick out even MORE than it allready does.I dont like the design and boxyness, but the height is good!

And that's in addition to the SandRidge tower and convention center hotel. So we're looking at 3 new towers over the next 5 or so years.

its a box but its not that bad come on at the very least its a tall box. if the skyline had more skyscrapers there would be no complaints. it is obvious because of this fact. i promise you that the more the skyline grows the less offensive this tower will appear to be. in fact i find it kind of attractive for a box. at least the building has decent cladding and a not to bad lighting feature at the top. i feel there is way to much negative crap being said that to me sounds like one person agreeing with the others just for the conversation. the reality is the building is nice. imo

So, will that worst-kept secret, Sandridge's new tower, be significantly taller than the 20 stories previously envisioned ?

I highly doubt it but SandRidge also hasn't publicly said how many stories or how tall it will be. I honestly doubt they even know at this point, right now it's all still just speculation.

And for the sake of staying on topic, I don't have any pictures to provide but the crown on the north side of Devon is almost completely glassed in.

This is a great looking tower. I would be more than happy to have it (or a taller version) in Toronto.
