Could they not have made the roof element a little taller to actually cover the mechanical box?! (Seen in first pic)

It's not the worst tower in the world, but man oh man, one would be forgiven for thinking there's a bylaw dictating that all new residential towers in the area must be grey.

I think Shift mentioned that the color scheme was chosen to match the civic towers and amenities of the location.

There is one unit on the 26th floor or so that has the biggest balcony as the building rotates. Of course that particular unit would be sold at a higher price.

Although Maybe one day a builder with deep pockets and some leverage will build a Bentall style development with like 5 towers and all the towers are black then they will definitely stand out. Although then we will have people on the streets protesting the colour. Lol!

Which project do you think will finish first Prime or Evolve?

Anyone have any recent pictures of the area?

I hope there is retail planned for street level. Would aid in making the Central Ave/University Dr intersection a lot more lively.

This turned out nice. It took over 3 years to construct in order to get to this point - from Nov 2015 where the first excavator was on site to Current.

Also noticeable in the pic is the current three way intersection; any news as to when Central Ave will be extended west towards 133 St?

I believe the plan is to eventually fully connect 103(Central Ave) west thru till 128 St and east to 140 ST.
