Interesting shots, Evergrey, thanks for braving the cold. Cool effect with the steam from the buildings. And as usual the skyline views kicked butt. Especially liked the views of PPG Place.

No pain no gain Evergrey! Nice work.

Here we have the horrible 'downtown smokestack' in action. That thing has got to go!

This is my favorite one:

Also, I finally get to see the streetscape of Schenley Farms. It is really nice. Pretty similar to other old mansion neighborhoods like North Oakland, Squirrel Hill, etc.

Thanks... only the sunrise/sunset photos at the beginning are from the very cold weather... the midday photos are from earlier in the month when it was in the 70s... it was quite the contrast over a couple week's time

Nice pics, crazy weather. A couple days ago our temperature dropped from 50 to 10F in a matter of two or three hours.

Another great set of Pittsburgh photos Evergrey. I thought the photo below of the Golden Triangle was very impressive,

For those who are "wirephobes", Schenely Farms was developed 100 years ago, with all utilities underground.

Evergrey, look at that nice big parking lot in the middle of the picture. That would certainly make a nice spot for a highrise, huh?

^I like the line of old buildings that Astorino renovated out for their office space along Fort Pitt Boulevard in the bottom center of that photo.

I love how imposing Pittsburgh is for its size. It stands so tall and bold.

The County sent out a request for proposals on that site. Ralph Falbo wants to build 120 condos there. Many developers were disappointed at the brevity of the initial RFP period, so the county has extended it.
