Some steel company posted a photo of the foundation for Parkway.

Kind of interesting how the sides are angled/beveled.

Looks like temporary fencing / weather protection.

I've never seen them on projects in BC. In Toronto and Montreal I've seen them a lot.

Some issues with a crane on this site. Looks like no injuries though.

I just took some photos today. Hope this doesn't take away too much momentum from this project!

At least it wasn't when the crane was higher up.
I wonder if the recent cold weather had any impact on the cranes in the region?

Word on the street is it happened during their morning max load safety test, which I guess proved to everyone on site why they need to do it!

Hey everyone.

Just out if curiosity when Parkway 1 was pre selling was Bosa asking clients to provide a “budget” and a list of units you were interested in.. then they would contact you with what was available within your budget?

Im guessing its a way to provide units to the highest budget…?

I have no idea but I know the tower sold out during the weekend so maybe not? I am pretty sure the only time I've seen that is for Westbank's Butterfly.

Tower 1 was sold at an avg of $1115. This upcoming release for Parkway 2 is only going to be 120/396 units for some reason.

Here are the prices for some units at the latest presale, Juno. It was allegedly the most successful launch in Canada for 2024.

I was watching some vid and they brought up 2 other towers, one starting at 1175 and the other at 1200. Assumed the first was Piano but then he said it would launch at the end of the year, I was under the assumption it was launching in 30-60 days.

Thanks for the reply. Yes because it seems as if they want to know what your willing to pay first before they tell you which unit they will offer you.. not sure if they always did this or if this is a new way of maximizing profits.

Developers are in the business of maximizing profits. That's basically the whole point. They don't build buildings out of the kindness of their hearts. Seems like a lot of people miss this point and that isn't exclusive to building developers. That is capitalism in general, the whole point of a business existing is to maximize profit. If you aren't then you're failing as a business and should become a not for profit...
