Probably Thrifty Foods. Save-on-Foods is right across the street.

Down Willingdon, that mysterious brown building that has been fenced off for years has had all of it's foliage cleared out. The Midas has also looked relatively quiet.. I guess they really are using the entire block for this thing!

I think the podium above "City Foods" should be taller -
Looks like a big void in the centre of 4 outwards facing towers.

Compare to this earlier renders posted -
Looks like the pedestrian mews killed the midrise office block and the height of the podium,
unless there's a foundation for a Phase 2 office midrise above the City Foods (but that would be tight to the condo tower)?

So demolition has been continuing on site. Advertising has now been posted along the north and east facing perimeters. The only thing that seems out of place is that Milestones is still open, is that not where the first phase of this project is going??

The milestones won't be there for long. once demo and construction starts, no one will go there for dining. just a matter of time now.

Only thing missing in the Brentwood area is a movie theater.

I believe the new owners of Brentwood Mall are planning this in their huge make over. here's the link to their plans. I believe it will be part of the entertainment area.

They're prepping the sales office/preview suite next door at an old warehouse on Willingdon.

Will be interesting to see how they are pricing these units. I think they will price them very competitively to get it sold and not have it sit for years like Affinity & Perspectives.

I think the current state of the market combined with the proximity to Brentwood Station should sell the project pretty quickly.

Picture of some of the demolition from today taken by me.

Couldn't get a shot of the sales office under construction unfortunately, but it's right beside where the Goodyear was on the left.

Thanks for the update.

Still want to know the tower heights! i wonder if the tallest is over 150 or 160 meters, especially given the office component. They seem to have decent dcorative crowns as well, adding height.

Nine days, it turns out.. Milestones closed on March 31.

It was once a "PJ Burgers and Sons", as was 4th and Bayswater, back in the 80s IIRC, about the same time I saw Stripes at the Lougheed Drive In.
