The great thing about this photo as a history of skyscrapers photo is that SOM's New York office is in the 14 Wall Street building, with the pyramid on top. So the great skyscraper architects are located in a great historical skyscraper (although they didn't design it.) They are on the 24th and 25th floors.

I spent like 15 seconds trying to align the Verrazano with the Battery Tunnel in my head. Forgot what thread I was in. Great photo.
