Here is a pic of the construction site I was able to snag while at a meeting in the Sofitel hotel in the CBD of Beijing. It's right across the street from the construction site.

I walk by here about once a week. I'll take some photos if I can get some clear shots. Hope you don't mind a camera phone.

Hey even if you drew the updates it would be better than no updates at all. Would love some updates! Thanks in advance!

Will be in Beijing this week (vacation in PRC from May 16th - 25th). I'll try to get to the construction site and take some pic's.

Check the first post. There's going to be 4-5 other smaller towers.

Walked by the sight today and a nice vantage point I noticed during the winter has been covered up by the returning foliage. So this was the best shot I could get as I walked by.

Looking north

Thank-you. The update is just fine. Looks like they took one crane down, unless it is hiding behind the crane in the foreground. The last picture shows two cranes on the poured foundation behind the second block of construction housing. The new picture only shows one(furthest crane from vantage point).

Wow what a massive construction site. One thing about Beijing, everything seems supersized!

The Chinese fuck every interesting construction site by building a high steel wall around it.

It would make more sense to ask why you don't like it than to ask people why they like this design, which is pretty much unanimously seen as beautiful.
