Yes, give it a spire and it has a very similar feel...but only from certain angles.

So this will be "92" stories...

http://www.relatedsales.com/luxury-c...5-hudson-yards

Quote:
This exceptional limestone tower, designed by David Childs and Skidmore Owings & Merrill, will be home to 143 exclusive for-sale residences, 22,000 square feet of private amenities, a world-class Equinox club and spa, and next generation services offered by Equinox Hotel.

When finished, 35 Hudson Yards will rise 92 stories—the tallest residential building at Hudson Yards—and thus will offer sweeping panoramic views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline. Construction is under way for 2019 occupancy.

I admit to not paying a lot of attention to this one since 30 got a lot of my attention at the site and there were similarities in the rendings between this tower and 15. But as they work on this, the detail in the cladding and curves are turning out awesome!

It's very underrated because of where it is, in the shadow of 30, and on a side of Manhattan where nothing really is, and no one really gets to see it unless they're walking around the railyards.

when 35 HY is completely finished, . .
including its subtle curves up at the crown, . .
it will be the least offensive of all the HY towers so far . .
exempting Related's excellent #10 & #30, of course . .
35 is actually kind of bland & unremarkable . .
though it'll have classic skyscraper shape & proportion . .
Cheap, super-shiny 3 Manhattan West is the worst in the area . .
but BIG's 3M sq.ft. fat boxy spiral could take the cake . .
even if they do manage to keep all the vertical vegetation alive . .
