hkskyline's 2017 in Seoul

Autumn is a great time to visit Korea. The tourist hordes are gone after Golden Week and the fall colours spread from north to south. Seoul turns into a colourful mosaic in early November, which makes the hike up Namsan even more enjoyable.

Most tourists choose to hike or cable car up from the other side, down in Myeongdong.

By now, do you still need to go up to the observation deck?

The new landmark is across the river where you don't see that many tall buildings. It is not Gangnam, but further east from there. Soaring 555m into the sky, Lotte World Tower is the country's tallest building.

The Signiel Hotel occupies the 76th to 101st floors.
