That's a mistake, BMO thread shouldn't have been closed.

I've fixed it now.

Thank you for those amazing shots, Solar!

OCS really looks crazy impressive from many parts of River North, especially near the R&R McDonald's like in the last shot. It's one of my favorite buildings to go up in the last 20 years, both due to its design and the skyline heft it provides.

We need more River North beauties to cancel out the less fortunate designs from the 00's. More glass towers to block out the beige concrete. Although there's probably no covering up a turd as bad as Grand Plaza. My recommendation is immediate demolition, followed by a thorough salting of the earth afterwards.

Salting the earth prevents green things from growing, not gray/beige ones

What is going on with the illustration of this building on the Chicago diagram?

I thought it would be good if someone would add the other tower to the diagram illustration to show how massive this project is, but now

the illustration of the single tower has become foggy. Will someone explain this? I do not know how these illustrations are created, but this

seems more unfinished than it had been. ???

Well, based on CTBUH criteria, the two towers count as two buildings:

One Chicago - 14 West Superior (global height rank = 215)

23 West Chicago Avenue (gobal height rank = 3350)

The shorter building needs to be added to the Skyscraperpage diagrams site.

Cycle by there several times a week as I live down the street. Looks incredible imo. Doesn't get more posh than a Whole Foods / LTF combo.

Can't imagine what those rich condo owners thought about the first (of many) mass shootings at the gangster McD's next door though. Sometimes I don't believe what I'm reading on the Citizen app from that spot. Dudes beating people with actual hammers and shit, it's the wild west.

Looks like a new Rick Bayless joint will be moving into OCS on Dearborn. This will help further connect River North to the Viagra Triangle area entertainment and dining wise.

^Don't get your hopes up. That sign has been there for months but I heard the deal fell apart and the restaurant is no longer coming to that space.

Oh really, that's a bummer. Hopefully something else good fills its place.
