I see where he made the mistake. I first thought it was at the corner of Sherbrooke and Berri.

It was an inside joke. C'mon, people!

Still, though, at first glance it had me fooled.

Ha, I didn't get that you were joking only because, frankly, I did have to look closely at the pic to realize it was not Montreal. It would have been a very honest mistake.

Detroit has heaps of run-down old buildings.

We get it, you have flowers in April!

But why are there never photos of the dismal, dull, depressing, gray, endlessly rainy "I can't wait to kill myself" fucking bullshit days of eternal dampness that lead up to this glorious moment?

At least you can have fun with snow. Rain?

Is this for real?

I feel embarrassed for the other Montreal forum members that you indirectly represent if this is your reaction to another forum member's wonderful photographic contributions to this site.

And if you haven't noticed he has been posting pictures of Vancouver and area ALL winter long, including all the rain and snow Vancouver has had this year.

I find it funny that you are offended by someone simply posting glamour shots of their area during one of its most photogenic seasons. When I key word search any city I tend to find glamour shots that are usually taken under clear or dramatic skies, almost as if those are the best times to take pictures.... The vast majority of pictures on this entire forum, especially threads such as this one, also attempt to shed a positive light on each city's strongest features).

And PS, we get it, Montreal has a lot of nice murals and wonderful pre-war buildings.

Why not post more pics of all the blank walls and strip malls in Montreal on this thread?

I see that you are new here so maybe you aren't aware that I have posted HUNDREDS of photos of "the dismal, dull, depressing, gray, endlessly rainy 'I can't wait to kill myself' fucking bullshit days of eternal dampness".

Go here. Enjoy.

OutofTowner does seem a bit.....wound up, at least from the posts I've seen. Relax a bit, man. You live in one of NA's best cities, and those pictures you posted of the amazing building art just proves how effortlessly cool the city is.

At least try to be as cool as the city you live in.

Well he hates everything in Canada that isn't Montreal, with particular attention paid to Toronto. But then will deflect by saying that everything here sucks compared to, say, Germany. Almost like someone who was here a few years ago and had a habit of posting semi-coherent drunken rants in the middle of the night trashing other places. But hey, maybe that's just me...

Let's not pretend that there haven't been a couple people here who get off on gloating about Vancouver weather. But that said, I certainly wouldn't put mcminsen's pictures in that obnoxious category and I think they're wonderfully delightful.

Honest question: did you switch your ISP just so you could create another alt on SSP, habsmanfan?

Not just you. Outoftowner was unmasked as Habsmanfan about 1 week after he joined.
