That's easy - Tobermory, Ontario. I used to live in Wiarton, about an hour south of here. Little Tub Harbour is the bay with the marina; the Chi-Cheemaun (ferry to Manitoulin Island) departs from the mouth of Little Tub Harbour. The other bay is Big Tub Harbour; there's a fantastic restaurant there (Big Tub Resort) that has excellent live music. The Bruce Trail also ends here. I was fortunate to hike from Tobermory to Owen Sound this past summer - it was a fantastic experience.

This is a fairly well known location. I've provided detailed shots of the two most well know features as well.

Edit: I actually expanded the scope of the first image a bit to include the brown splotch at the bottom. It's a very interesting geological feature, but isn't as well known as the other two features.

Gros Morne National Park

I guessed, but figured it was in Newfoundland and Labrador from the TV ad campaigns

The features are Western Brook Pond and Gros Morne itself. The brown spot is ophiolite, or ocean crust which has been pushed up onto the continental crust. Usually oceanic crust subducts because it is more dense, so it is somewhat rare to encounter it exposed on the surface like this.

I didn't think Tobermory would be that easy, but I guess I was wrong. My favourite thing about the area is the numerous shipwrecks . I learned how to scuba dive there, and it's still a great place to explore.

Went through this thread, you guys really took me back to my childhood with some. Manitoulin Island, taking the ferry out from Tobermory. We would usually stay the night in the hotel right beside the ferry docks and catch the morning crossing, then spend the day slowly making our way to our destination. We stayed at some cottages on Lake Mindimoya (The island on a lake on an island on a lake). I knew those two as soon as I saw them.

Haha, I was going to post that as my next one. It's Grand Manan Island.

You might want to crop out the coordinates on your photos. I'm trying to get the first one without searching, but at 64 degrees north it has to be somewhere in the territories. Is It Hay River or Dawson City?
