Getting the highest architectural structures of a country

You want to know, which are the tallest architectural structures of a certain country?

Then try this ( it does not work for all countries, but it is worth trying!)

Enter at http://www.google.com the name of the country in English language and the word "AIP"

You will find the aeronautical information page of the country. This may contain also the airtraffic obstacles of a certain country, which are - in other words - the tallest structures of the country.

Then go in the aeronautical information page. Sometimes registration is required, but this may be possible for free like here in the forum.

Then search in the aeronautical page the section "en route". In this section, there is often ( not always!) a list with the air traffic obstacles in the country. Sometimes there are also spans of aerial tramways, powerlines above valleys available!

Unfortunately the aeronautical information pages for each country are built up in a bit other way, although the standard chapters like "en route" are there, so I cannot give a standard procedure. Many countries do not publish air traffic obstacle lists for good reasons online.

Try it for as much countries as possible

If you can get a list of the air traffic obstacles, examine it carefully. I guarantee, that you can often make interesting discoveries!
