< CHARM CITAAAY > - Baltimore, Maryland

Spent two days in Baltimore primarily to see my pathetic Brownies play the Ravens on Thursday night and capture images and sketches of this gritty harbor city for future oil painting(s).

I hadn't been here in over ten years and didn't recall much about it from before. So what did I think!? Baltimore get's two thumbs up. Could easily have spent at least two more days touring the town. Sure me and my buddies got harassed wearing Orange and Brown and there's some sketchy areas but the city has so much to offer and the people were great!

Baltimore reminded me a lot of my home tome of Cleveland: waterfront, incredible old architecture (that they just don't make anymore), wind, and down to earth folks. Sure it had a few rough decades after the 50s, but this isn't a un-walkable, boring, giant strip mall type city like some newer cities. You'll see it's got character out the yin yang!

Very nice - I've had some great times in Baltimore - it's more along my kind of place than other East Coast cities.

Thumbs up Look what you are missing

A great tantalizing peek into a very underrated part of the east coast megaloplis..... There is so much more away from the inner harbor area..... Looks like you picked the right hotel....... And by the way did you get the crabs?..

You nailed it. Baltimore is completely underrated IMO! And crabs no but crab cakes yes ...cause THAT's what Maryland does!

BTW: Sketch plans for my Baltimore painting. Linked it but forgot to add it
