VANCOUVER l Beautiful Days

In May of 2017, a mad dash from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, British Columbia took place to see the first show of U2's Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary World Tour. The roughly five and a half hour drive time from the Oregon border to the hotel near Coal Harbour instead took ten hours after accounting for the hell that has become Seattle's traffic and the insanity of the George Massey Tunnel just after crossing the border. There are no photos of that ludicrous day, not from the hour and a half jam from South Lake Union to Everett or almost diving into traffic on Burrard Street to catch a cab to the show 15 minutes after it was supposed to start.

There are plenty of photos, however, from the rest of that beautiful weekend in the Great White (Civilized) North.

Until next time, Vancouver (and British Columbia, and Canada, and Seattle, and . . .)

You can see why there seems to be an endless stream of people willing to invest in Vancouver... Sigh... ;-)

Beautiful tour!

Vancouver is really nice, and it has a very nice skyline and wonderful surrounding green and mountain areas.

Thanks for sharing.

Greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, just north across the water from downtown.
