I'm glad I sold my loft at the Wilson, the building would have blocked my view of the fire fountain.

Build it here. Of course there's no market for that, but still. Build it here as our new tallest.

It'd be nice to see a city like halifax get something like that. In montreal it will barely make a "dent" in the skyline.

This has been posted a few times already. I'm still not convinced all the elements will harmoniously work together. That doesn't mean these aren't among the best marketing renderings ever posted on the forum.

New Missingsausage news...

Just another proposal for Mississauga. This time in the mostly SFH stretch right near the border to Toronto. This proposal is being built in between some rental apartment towers, so the height being proposed is reasonable (12 stories, 153 units).

Based on the rendering, I think it looks amazing and I'll gladly take it for Halifax! Or Moncton, or Fredericton, Saint John, Montreal, or Toronto, or Ottawa or Hamilton...

To be honest I think the colours and design are most reminiscent of Toronto. If I could put it anywhere else it would probably be an empty lot on Cherry near the Distillery.

The Montreal project will be the last building erected around the fabulous Place Jean-Paul Riopelle with its unique water-fire fountain, and a project worthy of that square which is at the door of Old Montreal. The crane are now up, and I can't wait to see it rising.

projet très sobre en verre foncé, parfait pour l'emplacement. Will be visible from Champlain.

Although digging has commenced, here is TDC3

And even better news! (sarcasm), those two little boxes in the back are 750 Peel, two 23-floor boxes that look like they belong in a city of 250,000. C.F are lobbying for those little boxes to gain approval. MTL office market is on fire and they give us that cheap shit.

Wow, I haven't seen a render this bad in a long time. For starters, the TDC1 is absent. So are the jardins windsors towers across the park. And wtf, the tour de la bourse does not look like that. Obviously these were made by CF in some etobicoke office where they had no idea what downtown montreal looks like.

Also, if the 23 floor twins is reality, then this will confirm this entire project as a complete failure (visually). Lazy and uninspired. And yet what we saw at first, was a dramatic re-drawing of scale for downtown.

What the hell...that's a strange proposal. I really dislike it....even though I'd like that tower design anywhere else in Hamilton. Keep the facades! All of them....

Kaneff, the developer behind all the concrete condominium (and some rental) towers in the southwest subdivision of Downtown Mississauga is back.....and has started construction on a sales centre of the newest project. This was a project that was started up two years ago but was announced for sales a few weeks ago. I'm posting this here today because I have photos of the twin towers and the sales centre. The towers are going to be built along Burnamthorpe Road, adjacent to a tower and townhouse complex Kaneff developed 30-40 years ago and near the last building they developed in 2002.
The towers are called Keystone Condos, and are 20 floors and 23 according to different sources, Today:

Here's the Edge Towers....sales going on. Also, the daycare on the site will continue functioning while the developers build the first phase with a daycare build in the podium:

Good news as that's puts the nail in the coffin for those horrid tower proposals over the years. Great Gulf's has a good reputation for hiring decent architects.
