^^ As for not liking rounded corners, pretty much anything I say you(WS) say the opposite. I love it when I can dictate another forumers opinion so easily just because they've decided long ago to contradict everything I say. You seem to like the rounded corners on the Edmonton tower. LOLOL too funny.
Yeah, our opinion rarely see eye to eye but, don't construed that a personal attack.

It's hard to believe that Stantec Tower will be almost as tall as One Bloor. Both towers were designed by the same architect.

Stantec is HP? Didn't know that.

One Bloor is on floor 73 I believe. Two taller floors and the mechanical left still.

I love that look. Ontario's old school architecture is gorgeous IMO.

Yeah, Toronto's commercial streets aren't really big city, there's just more of them.

That look will never change either, the towers are being built behind the 1800's/1900's two storey commercial buildings on the service lanes that abut onto the Yonge Street properties. Some of the older commercial buildings are being restored though to improve their appearance.

Examples of buildings built behind the stripor service lanes)

Nicolas Residences
WOP - 194 meters
Massey Tower - 208 meters
FIVE Condos
Karma Condos - 165 meters

Some of the newer buildings built right on Yonge Street/ have no historic components because they were not there when the tower was proposed or built:

Aura - 273 meters
YC Condos - 198 meters

Proposed
Teahouse Condos - 175 meters
The One - 328 meters
