Not entirely MLS related, but Toronto just played to a draw against Santos.

This was playing at home. I have a feeling that Toronto might get destroyed as they have to play in Santos' home next week. That will be tough for sure

Toronto 1 - 1 Santos

I also thought they'd get destroyed by the LA Galaxy...

Who knows we'll see.. Go TFC!

The fact that it'll even take a second game to be decided is impressive. Well done TFC!

The Impact (a division II team back then) won 2-0 vs Santos at the big O. We then lost 5-2 in Mexico.

We were even losing 3-2 after 92 minutes (which meant they had to score 2 goals in less than 2 minutes order to win) before the unthinkable happened.

Playing in LA is different as playing in Mexico.

With that being said, good luck to Toronto because they'll need it.

Final Result:

Toronto FC 0 - 1 Columbus Crew.

Coming up next is New York Red Bulls VS Montreal Impact.

It will be a tough one.

Allez Montréal

Once again a bullshit call resulting in a goal against Montreal

New York 2 - 2 Montreal after 1st half

MTL is playing awesome though.

Mexico VS Canada for a ticket to the Olympic games.

Definitely a conflict of interest right here since I was born and raised in Mexico (And still living here for the moment)

The Mexican commentators' remarks piss me off. They're saying that beating Canada will be like taking candy from a baby. I'll laugh if they lose.

Mexico is doing a lot better, they look more confident. They might not be able to give their citizens a good quality of life or stop the violence and corruption, but they sure can play Soccer

Canada did pretty good overall. Beating the Americans was a big accomplishment.

Santos Laguna destroys Toronto 6-2... The Impact did a better job against them a few years ago while they were a division II team.

The prize these teams were after was an Olympic berth and they failed to get there. It can't be considered a success. Team Canada sabotaged themselves by allowing that equalizing goal by Cuba in extra time. These things come down to mental toughness, and they paid a heavy price for being inexperienced. A minute more concentration and they would have met Honduras in the semi-final.

I'm not suggesting that Honduras would have been a guaranteed win, but Mexico is a far tougher opponent. Btw, I believe you meant they did well.

Congrats, they also didn't have half their players injured.

Oh well, at least once again TFC is the best Canadian team. By far.
