What do the Leafs or Sens have to do with the Mooseheads?

Nobody said there aren't other great buildings in the CHL with great fan support. The playoffs really improve the atmosphere at most arenas regardless of size. I'm just saying Halifax has one of the best atmosphere's in the league which is hard to argue against. I would agree with the London knights having large crowds with a great atmosphere. Kitchener Rangers is another in the OHL.

I would say the Quebec Remparts had a better atmosphere in the old pepsi Colisée as their current arena is too large for the CHL.

Regardless this is getting way off topic.

The irony of reality being mention is laughable. This forum has to be brought back to reality on more than a few occasions.

I'm not trying to pile it on but....this isn't what you said. What you said was:

Not one of - the best, which I took issue with. Emphasis added mine.

Sounds more like an issue with the audio equipment picking up the ambient noise rather than the fans making noise.

We can agree on this, at least. I don't think anthems should be played at games at all, but that's beside the point.

Thanks @GCR

We are in top right corner of section 1. Under the shade of the sun and rain, close to the beer bar, concessions & washrooms. Easy in and out.

You implied that there is a correlation between number of butts in seats and atmosphere. Im giving you examples of where that isnt the case.

I'm not sure why, but it irritates me a little that Moncton does all the work and Halifax gets the team.

Maybe I'm just being cranky, but you want a team in Halifax, host your own games...oh wait, that's right you can't.

As a regional team, Halifax was always going to be the place for the stadium.
Its the largest city, it makes perfect sense.
But we all need to remember that it is a regional team... there is no place for an "us vs. them" mentality.
If we want this team to succeed, its going to take the entire region supporting it... we're all in this together.

Just got four tickets to the game. West grandstand. Should be protected from the elements.

Wow... that is quite a drop in pricing.
No excuse for anything short of a sold out game now.

Do they mention which major brands they've partnered with?

Edit - ah, so they did:

Quote:
The New Country 96.9 Family Zone will offer picnic-style seating in the south end zone at an affordable price, with each $29 ticket including a hot dog and a soft drink.

The C103 Party Zone will take over the north end zone where fans can expect a celebratory and social experience, while making new friends from across Atlantic Canada. The wide-open, 19-and-over C103 Party Zone allows fans to roam the licensed area and take in the game atmosphere together, with tickets at just $45 each.

Other sponsored areas include the McInnes Cooper Platinum Zone, PRO•LINE Gold Zone, TELUS Silver Zone and Atlantic Schooner Club Zone.

I just had a look at the prices, but only briefly. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears decent seats are still $100+. The cheap seats are only in the end zones, or so it seems at a brief glance. They talk about "roaming around the party zone," and a "picnic-like family zone." What does that mean? Are there even seats in each end zone?
I guess these are questions I should ask them. Either way I'm looking forward to another game.
