they aren't messing around. Monday morning it was still just a hole in the ground.

I think by the end of the week, definitely by the end of the month, I won't have much of a view left. Except for a bunch of steel and orange shirt guys jumping from beam to beam.

If any of you are watching the steel be put together, keep your eyes out for the two fellas with the shiny Silver helmets. These guys seriously take the cake on crazy. Hanging off the side of the I beams and jumping from one to another, sometimes with no tether.

BTW. I'm new to this site and I really dig it A LOT, especially innov8's pic snapping skills.

Welcome dave, yeah some of those high rise construction guys are nuts. They must think they are invulnerable. It must be some type of construction machismo type thing?

Don't worry Dave... I thought that way back when they built the Wells Fargo tower. I used to be able to see your building once apon a time. Now I have an up-close and personal view down onto the swimming pool of Well's fitness club.

Think of all the nice shade that you'll have in the afternoons now!

Here's some pics that I took yesterday from N Street looking north...

Moving the all important potty-shacks from the basement up to the sidewalk...

Have a good weekend!

If you look close when going over the pioneer bridge (i think thats the name, US 50/B-80) you can see the steel rising between Wells Fargo and that tower behind it. I look everyday on my way to work.

A bit odd on the construction method, usually they build out the floors all the way across, here they went straight up 6 floors and haven't even started on the other steel yet. Only like a quarter of the floorplates are getting built.

Nice to see construction moving along quite fast. Is there a lighting feature in the tower?

Nice, so it will be lit up just like Well Fargo. That spire will look cool from a distance.

Welcome stsinv
