^The funny thing is that is a brand new building!

I'd like to add all of Highfield Park and the Uniacke Square area to the list.

Highfield Park.... makes me sad. Any planner who still works for HRM who helped let that happen should be show the door.

I drove through Highfield Park a couple of years ago and it was just plain spooky! I remember when that area was being developed. I can't believe how much the neighbourhood has fallen apart in the last 20 years......

Hence my dubious opinion of the value of municipal "planning" That area was planned by some crew of planning types who supposedly knew what they were doing. What they did was create one of the most scary, crime-infested hoodlum-filled slums. Looking at what's built there, could there be any doubt?
