The curtain wall is what being installed in picture. Nothing goes over it. All the necessary layers are built into each piece.

I was wondering about that, it looks different than the mockup in the image that was posted on pg 16 of this thread.

You're right - the stone needs to go on over it. I didn't look close enough at photo.

Yeah these look like they are essentially just pre-cast concrete panels that the final cladding will be secured to, although it is a bit hard to tell.

EDIT: You can see the part the concrete panels play in the final exterior using a photo posted earlier by cdnguys, where they appear to be the innermost layer:

Well lets hope there is more to the facade otherwise the building will look like Assumption Place here in Moncton and you definitely do not want that.

yes, waterproofing, insulation and the limestone cladding, still needs to be applied over the concrete panels that are being applied currently.

Council has voted unanimously to remove the site of IOL's proposed parking garage from the King Street East Heritage Area. Next step is likely a conditional use application for the parking garage through PAC - this is where changes to the proposal such as an active street frontage along King Street East could be advocated for...

Here's some photos I took of the steel connections, and a view from King's Square. These photos were taken sometime last week.

The images aren't showing up in my preview for some reason, so I'll include the Imgur link here too.

As expected, a conditional use and variance application for the parking garage is on this month's PAC agenda. Again, next Tuesday's meeting would be a good time to speak out about higher and better uses for the block...

Also on the agenda this month (not sure whether to put this here or in the main SJ thread), a bit more surface parking is creeping its way onto King Square North, on the IOL-owned land next to the former Dominion building. See the lovely render below.

It better not be permanent...
