Let's face it, the NCR is the Toronto Maple Leafs of Architecture. Sure there are a couple of stars in the lineup at any given time, and there's some storied past glories to point to, but mostly it's overpriced utility or overpriced former styles long past their sell-by date. Cue, those happy optimists around who believe in the always-imminent success of the "rebuilding" plans ('just wait till such and such develops, and then we'll turn the corner!')
