The 'Wijnhavenkwartier' development consists of 3 skyscrapers overall. Two 39-floor office towers that will be 146M/479FT tall and house the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and the Dutch Ministry of Justice and a 41-floor residential tower that will be 132M/432FT tall.

The colors are very intriguing, and the renderings seem to give the buildings a decade old feel to them. Do you know if the cladding material is some sort of stone/concrete? The red and white buildings remind me of pre-World War II skyscrapers while the greenish one has a similar shape to the 60s blocks in New York.

(The numbers: To avoid the jokes, put a space after each comma. At least to this American, 146,146,132 = one huge number. 146, 146, 132 = three different numbers.)

Cool development. I like the look of the towers, especially the red one and the one in the middle. Nice textures on the facades and setbacks. Modern architecture has gotten a bit too boxy for my taste, so it's good to see some new buildings that actually have shape to them with setbacks.

Look really nice. Wish the one in the middle, would have been 10 floors taller. It would have truly made an even more impressive impact on the Hague's skyline.

^ I like the white and red buildings a lot. They look kinda prewar American nicely changing from the usual all-glass stuff. Good density, too. That little cluster is gonna be something nice.

I agree. I love the pre-war quality to them and the contrast between the red and white towers. I'd love to see something like this built in LA. What material is being used on the facade? Is it stone or concrete?

I couldn't find any clue in English. Looking at a few pictures showing the construction of the facades in close-up let me guess the red one was concrete walls covered with brick panels. Same principle for the white, concrete walls covered with panels of that kind of white stone. It has to be precast of course, but looks fine quality anyways.

These things seemed to have almost doubled the size of the skyline. Fairly interesting, though, I'd have changed up the three tower tops.
