Help with recognizing skyline

Hello, there is something that has been bugging me for weeks. Can anyone help me with the skyline shown in this ad?

Thank you

It's probably in Brazil which has tons of skylines. Ask forumer Trantor. He might know.

I dunno. The mix of big office towers and wide but fairly short residential ones looks pretty American/Canadian/Australian to me.

On the other hand, what language is that?

A little detective work reveals that the language is Romanian.

But I don't think it's a Romanian city.

Yes, the language in this ad is romanian but they use the same ad all over they just change the language. This is the one I found on youtube. There was another one in czech language but the beginning was cut off.

My first thought was a city in Florida, but it's hard to tell and compare skylines.

The blurry flora looks Northern...

Edit: I see palm trees in close up shots of the cat, so that is not a northern latitude.

That's Fort Lauderdale.

This is from the exact opposite direction as the clip.

As well, that's Holiday Park at the bottom of the opening shot.

^Well what do you know, that was my first guess. But I'm not familiar enough with the skyline to have known for sure.

dont remember him calling me Trentor, but if he did, thats an heresy that Isaac Asimov fans wont forgive!

anyway, Brazil has tons of skylines, but so do other cities. And either way, this doesnt looks like a brazilian skyline. Looked quite american to me, and it was, as someone else noticed: Fort Lauderdale.

I am in Natal/RN right now. A more typical brazilian skyline:

yes, Natal.

It was my first time in real tropical Brazil. Its 4,100 km northeast of where I live, near Porto Alegre. Almost over the equator line.

Awww... it was end of march and the water was warm... THE ENTIRE DAY! EVERY DAY!!

I called my mother (in my home town) and the day had started with a temperature of 7ºC. In Natal it was 30º

Its quite a different Brazil...
