Looks like it also fills a nice hole in Air Canada's schedule. Will be good for those taking evening international flights out of Toronto.

Great news for YXE. Bummed that they didn’t just announce YQR at the same time. I really want to fly Porter for my YQR summer flights.

Just saw a note to Lynx employees that the airline will cease operations as of Sunday Feb 25. There was a rumour about a Flair/Lynx merger to be announced this week but I guess that did not pan out.

I just realised with Lynx's demise, that YQR is only served by two airlines: Air Canada and WestJet (I don't count Sunwing as it's basically WS at this point). A duopoly. They must be loving it, but what about passengers? I wonder if this has an effect on increased pricing for routes flown out of YQR.

Just as well that they folded before they started serving Saskatchewan and screwing up people's travel plans. Porter is the only "new" airline that I believe are actually capable of executing a business plan that will allow them to be a trustworthy air travel provider.

I actually like YXE and it puts YQR to shame. I was just commenting on where that other list came from.

I've only flown out of YQR once, but I think it has a much nicer pre-clearance area than YXE.

I've only flown out of YXE once and I thought the opposite of you. Maybe it was the fact that is was new and unfamiliar to me but it just seemed newer and more modern than YQR.
