In case anyone missed it by steering clear of the Alberta Election thread (who could blame you?), Alex Robinson of Calgary did a fantastic shot-for-shot recreation of the House of Cards intro with Edmonton and the Legislature as the focus.

In case you want to see how spot-on it was, here's a side-by-side comparison:

Hamilton's two main streets. Main and King.

At around the 4:00 mark you see the letters "AGH" sticking out over the street. This is an acronym for the Art Gallery of Hamilton, but it also works as a cartoonish thought bubble expressing one's grim realization at one's current geographical position.

"Agh....I'm in Hamilton..."

Just came here to post this. I don't think I've seen a better tourism video.

Found these and thought they were good. These 3 neighbourhoods are all adjacent... the Toronto trifecta as I like to call it:

Very interesting promotional video from Ubisoft Quebec. They recently hired a new assistant art director. The guy, married with 4 children, is currently living in Edmonton and he doesn't speak a word of french. Ubisoft wanted to give him a big welcome so they pulled out all the stops for him.

I guess the video also makes the point that it may indeed be possible for an anglophone to come work and have a life in this city, a reality which I often see contested on this forum...
