This came up in the suggestions for me after that video. And it's one of the few things with Candy I don't think I've ever seen. Kevin Kline is quite good too. And Dave Thomas has a part as well.

Still missed. John Candy was so amazing.

So my social media just filled up with messages about the passing of the singer I referenced in this post earlier this year. Not known to many on here but this is a real Gord Downie moment for francophones. He was only 47.

I just love it when slobberin' shitizens get straightened out by the cops, but they are usually too full of themselves to learn anything from the experience. Chances are high that the poor kids will end up just like this obnoxious, self-important cretin and his wife.

One of my good high school friends earned the name Manitoba Fats based on that John Candy skit.

Irony at 16:20; this occurred 50 feet from an auto insurance office. Many people around here operate vehicles within grey areas of the law, such as having out of province licence plates and insurance while actually being residents, but this one is not such a grey area, it's highway libertarianism, on highways paid for by taxpayers.

Since the rules are clear, I'm not sure that counts a "grey area".

Apparently that guys non-license plate is his passport number which would contradict his ideals?

If you've been on social meme-media much in the past week, you'll likely have seen Nanalan taking the world by storm... 20 years on.
