So far no one has done this, this would be an NHL record for futility by the Canucks. I have my fingers crossed, toes crossed, I'm praying to the heavenly Shiva, and have sacrificed a couple of goats just to be sure.

Philly... wow. Well, getting embarrassed might be a good thing to make sure they come back and seal the deal.

In the meantime, the series everyone has forgotten about (NYR vs OTT) is turning into quite possibly the best pure hockey series of the 1st round. Great play by both teams, tons of good action, not a lot of stupidity, and great frigging goals.

Indeed, good series between Sens and Rangers. Rooting for Sens in this one. Nice OT win.

Oh and lets make history tonight Canucks..

So far each team that's facing elimination has played tough. Hopefully my Preds are taking note and can finish this in Smashville tomorrow.

Also, nice win Sens!

So, now that Schneider doesn't look like a playoff pushover, Luongo would make a great Leaf!

Luongo would look stellar in a Maple Leafs uniform. Schneider is so freakin' solid.

And best of all he'd never have to worry about not looking good in a playoff game.

Vancouver can send him to Toronto on the condition that CBC doesn't show any more Leaf games west of Thunder Bay. Maybe then we could get the Alberta boys to hate us just a touch less.

He gets traded for Kadri and Gardiner and Leafs fans will come and tell how much both of these guys suck.

But until then, they are gods.

I am really curious to see what Vancouver does with their goalie situation in the offseason. I'm sure they would love to trade luongo, but there can't be many teams willing to gamble on a contract like that. I bet Lou stays and Schnieder goes to another team.

With a performance like Schnieder had last night I'm sure he will get a nice deal. We'll see if he can follow it up back in Vancouver.

I'm glad we locked up Peks for a while, he's too vital to our team. Funny thing is, I saw a promotion either in an email or on Twitter from the Preds a while back advertising season tickets for next season with pictures of Weber, Radulov, and Peks...no Suter...so we'll see what happens.

Schneider would be a great backup goalie for a cup-contending team.

Did someone forget to tell the Flyers and Penguins goaltenders that the playoffs have started? My kid's Pee Wee team has better goaltending than I've seen in this series. This one has apparently set a record (thus far) for worst combined save percentage by goaltenders. It's barely over 0.800 I think.

Wait, are you against the Canucks or for the Canucks? Depending on how you answer will determine what Hindu God/Goddess you should pray to.

Funny, but horrible.

Yeah, it's pretty appaling. As for the Rangers/Senators, that is some great hockey. Lundqvist is a friggin' wall, yet the Sens have managed to pull off TWO OT wins. Even though I don't see us going to the second round, it's been some good hockey so far. Having said that, I hope we can capitalize on that and pull a huge upset against the Rangers.
