Well, these textures look like crap up close. They're made out of Bing Maps bird's eye view images, so they are really low res. I'm still gonna keep on doing street level scenes as well, but I won't use the same textures as I use for these aerials. The texture for the close-up will be made of an image of the same building, but not from Bing Maps but instead from Google Street View image. It's a lot of extra work - especially in terms of finding a good candidate building for the texture - but hopefully it's worth it. We'll see how it looks on the next update, as I'm now ready to recreate the first scene.

Glad to hear this! Actually Staunton - and Sta Fee - were the two main motivators for me to change my approach towards more photoreal textures.
