cheers
I don't think this is full height reading on SSC forums - I think there is another side that will reach a slightly taller point - correct me if I'm wrong.

^thanks Chest for those amazing pics.

I've wanted to chime in here and say how much I've love this building. I love all those angles playing off each other - it really does look like shards of glass!

Perhaps this is the most exciting building under construction anywhere.

I am wondering if the building is glazed at the top? I had thought it would be open latticework due to winds at that height, but Chest's photos appear to show glass on the final panel they're installing.

I was impressed by this design from day 1, but seeing that side of the facade crowned off, I'm speechless. It's amazing how far technology in construction, as well as design, have come that we can top a building with a single piece of shard-like facade glass sticking into the sky. Simply incredible.

This thing is almost as awesome as the new World Trade Center in New York. Will it be done in time for the Olympics?

^ I'd say it's on par with the new WTC, AND that's coming from a NYer. Yes it WILL be completed in time for the Olympics.

it will be externally complete for the skyline shots, but won't be open for the public.
