That's almost like the Churchill Falls deal 2.0!

If only Bonavista Peninsula was this side of the isthmus. I'd say snip it off and let her drift.

Is this a sneaky way to get Newfoundland out of the Canadian version of "This Land is Your Land"?

We already have our own. I forget all the words except "from Bonavista to the New World Islands"

I like Ontario because it has an elephant in it. Can you find it?

Pretty good deal but I think you should have gone all out and asked for some Brasserie Dunham. It would be the swindle of the century!

Anyone ever notice that Vancouver Island looks like a chubby Manhattan?

some Quebec government websites (still) seemingly dispute the border with Labrador:

Anticosti Island could be a cigarette (or spliff) with Gaspe being the lower jaw or tongue. Iles de la madeleine could be ash from the cigarette/joint.

I think the Magdalens should belong to PEI. Same sedimentary sandstone geology, beaches and a ferry link to boot!

It's almost as if they're subtly claiming the entire territory of Labrador and not just the portion just north of the current border that is officially disputed.

The map doesn't show any territory outside of Quebec except for Labrador. No parts of Ontario, New Brunswick or anything like that.

That small portion of Labrador is officially disputed by the province of Quebec since 1927. Quebec advocates that the limit should at least follow the watersheds.

As a GIS technologist, I'll echo Someone123's comments and chime in that the New Brunswick shape in the OP is in a bad projection for showing it in isolation (looks like Lambert Conformal Conic which is suited for displaying all of Canada).

Here it is in the New Brunswick Stereographic Double Projection, as nature intended:

Turn NB sideways and it kind of looks like a sheep!
