Ah. That's at SW 15th & Morrison. It's low income housing that's being rehabbed.

Goose Hollow apartments ready to open doors to tenants

Mill Creek Residential's latest foray into the Portland apartment market is ready for renters.

Modera Goose Hollow, a 134-unit apartment building at 2004 S.W. Jefferson St. has begun leasing its units. Mill Creek is positioning the community, which sits near a MAX light rail station, as being "transit-oriented" and ideal for those who are looking for a walkable neighborhood.

“Portland continues to show substantial growth in demand for new apartment homes, ranking 7th in multifamily rent growth in the country at 8 percent, according to Axiometrics,” said Sam Rodriguez, senior managing director for the Northwest for Mill Creek Residential, in a release.
...continues at the Portland Business Journal.

Mill Creek Residential is not very creative with the names of their projects. There are multiple moderas in many cities across the country. They all can be seen here: http://www.millcreekplaces.com/portfolio

At least they don't all look the same like the identical Sky House buildings that Novare Group seems to be building all over the place (http://novaregroup.com/current-developments/) I'm glad there isn't one proposed for Portland but I don't think their parking garages would get through design review.

Latest drawings [PDF - 19MB] for the SW Yamhill Apartments.

In other Goose Hollow news, City Council approved a resolution yesterday allowing the director of BES to enter in an agreement with TriMet to allow construction of a building over the Tanner Creek Sewer. This makes it possible to develop the southern half of the block bound by SW 18th / Taylor / 17th / Salmon (where the Allegro tower would have gone). According to TriMet "multiple developers" are interest in the site.

My wife and I toured the Modera Goose Hollow. Its actually a pretty nice building inside. We almost put in an application and decided on a place in NW.

This place turned out nice though.
