I was told by a window washer that they will be cleaning the exterior for about a year or so because the cladding was damaged by splattered concrete. Yikes

It sure looks like there’s a lot of residue from that blue plastic coating, as well as pieces of that coating still hanging on in places.

This might sound like a joke, but the William Penn miniature on top the spire is missing. Drone photographer @andy_dangelo_ on Instagram was sharing drone shots to me of the top, and where Billy was standing is nothing but a square with a hole drilled into it. @tinyplumbergirl on Instagram also confirmed and said she hasn't seen it since December. She said it was not so secured, it had a bolt through it but it wasn't screwed from the inside of the metal pedestal.

Sounds like a mystery for someone who cares. Contact a Philadelphia sports blog. They’ll have the city in a fury in no time. Or NBC 10 - all they have to do for verification is take the elevator and climb the stairs.
