Dan's Hamburgers on Ben White & Manchaca to be razed and remodeled

According to the guys working at Dan's a couple weeks ago, Dan's will close shop later this month. The building will be torn down and rebuilt in the same style as the Dan's in Buda. I have just emailed Dan's and asked for the last day they'll be open. I would really like to be there on that day. It'd be great for a bunch of fans to come out and enjoy the old school place one last time. I'm going to be sure and get some pictures if I'm able to make it.

Wow, I'm surprised that place is still holding on. I haven't been there in a long time even though it's relatively close to me.

Just got emailed back. Closer to February. They're waiting on the City, of course.

Dan's is one of, if not the best hamburger in town. I've had P Terry's and Hopdoddy. Give me Dan's with bacon any day.

Dan's and Fran's (Dan's ex wife) have the best old fashioned hamburgers and milk shakes in town.

I drive by that place twice a day and have never tried it. Now I hear that it's great and being destroyed in the same post

It'll come back as the same Dan's with the same food, but in a brand new, retro diner type building.

That Dan's Hamburgers is doing much better than holding on, they're thriving.
