Ochsner Health / SEBR

Ochsner Health System will invest more than $100 million to expand its Baton Rouge-area facilities, including building a new medical office building, a 10-bed micro-hospital and surgical center near the Mall of Louisiana.

The planned five-story medical office building and attached 30,000-square-foot micro-hospital and surgical center in The Grove development near the Mall of Louisiana in the Bluebonnet-Siegen area will serve as the western anchor, with room for future expansions.

Beauregard Quarters / CBD

A four-story multifamily development in the historic Beauregard Town neighborhood on the corner of Napoleon and America Streets is currently under construction. The development will include 25, one and two bedroom apartment units with garages on the ground floor. Designed to complement the exterior aesthetic of the existing neighborhood, Beauregard Quarters is located across from the House on the Hill development, an planned urban infill and historic home redevelopment. Florida tiger, would you happen to have any information on the PMAC renovations, more specifically the new video/scoreboards they're installing? I think the basketball program is trying to keep these renovations sort of low-key so they haven't released any updates on the construction or renderings. I have heard that the video boards are already being installed.

LAtoTX, work is underway on what will be the largest center hung videoboard in college basketball. is compared with those in the NBA, it would rank 11th in size among all center hung boards in NBA arenas.

a link to the story on Yahoo Sports, https://sports.yahoo.com/lsu-apos-ma...172231622.html

Other renovations, such as removal of the four "ramps" and opening of the corners with ground to ceiling windows have also been discussed, no renderings yet.

Smile Electric Depot

New to this forum here.

I thought I’d post an update from the Advocate on the Electric Depot development. Since this article is a bit of old news (6 weeks). has anyone seen any work begun on the site yet?

“Work set to begin before year end on Electric Depot” BY TIMOTHY BOONE | TBOONE@THEADVOCATE.COM SEP 21, 2017 - 5:29 PM

http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rou...f3de7ae4e.html

“Construction of the $20 million redevelopment of the former Entergy site on Government Street should start before the end of the year, one of the project’s developers told the East Baton Rouge Redevelopment Authority.

Dyke Nelson, of Weinstein Nelson Development, said there will be “no problem” with completing the first phase of the Electric Depot development before the end of 2018.”
