Construction Manager says "Only 10 more years till completion!"

So a bit faster than I was expecting.

Black panels on Fenwick tower in Halifax:

Not strictly reclad related but the building has some nice views.

I'm really not liking that Edmonton reclad....I just have a certain liking for those kindof towers with their subdued browns and greys....just my tastes

If Stade Olympique could be properly renovated (completely remove the roof IMO) to be a competent MLB or CFL stadium, it would be a great accomplishment in the quest for restoration and preservation of Modernist architecture.

Why would a spectacular building disappoint you?

It doesn't have to be a stadium in order to preserve it. It hasn't paid off in the last 50 years. It's time to move on.

I'm aware its essentially a pipe dream, I'm just saying it would be nice.

The original was nothing to look at but, the re-imagined reclad is a mess of ideas. Sorry, it looks like some 1990s PoMo type that should never ever be resurrected. Random elements that just don't fit together. (ex. the new convex glass addition to the front) Nice glass which does help from gagging.

It looks alright now but I don't think it's going to age very well. Way, way too convoluted
