Plaza Tower

This WWL article talks about the Plaza Tower renovation at the end. Looks like something will be happening soon.

"As for the long-abandoned Plaza Towers building, the owners, MCC Real Estate run by businessman Joe Yeager, said because of all the new development in the nearby South Market District, the time appears to be right to invest in renovations. Preliminary planning and a feasibility study are now underway."

the timing is certainly much better now and by the time the thing opened( id presume a two year process ) the area will be mostly developed... def think we will see a true mixed use building here since it really lends itself to that


btw that news clip seemed to have worked since violations have been filed against the owners of the buildings on canal.

theres a few more coming.. i think calvin klein and tommy hilfiger are pretty decent for outlet malls

I wish we were getting an actual Calvin Klein store not an outlet... We need better shopping, and its slowly improving.. Also that hotel in central city is interesting. I pray Melpomene/MLK gets repaved soon, thats not a bad street but the road sure is ugly
