I always thought the townhomes would be placed fronting a sidestreet?

It only requires an update every 2 months as it's moving slower than molasses.

I think the parking won't be as deep as MLS (similar scale project) since this is a huge site in surface area. I have no idea i could be wrong.

Why is this thread still in the proposals section? I know it has been slow going but they had the official ground breaking months ago, did all the shoring work and have been excavating for some time now.

Surely this thread should be moved to the Highrise under construction section?

It should... And don't call me Shirley.

Construction only starts once rebar/concrete have been added to the foundation.

Exactly. Once we see some foundation work (caissons, piles, or rebar for a mat foundation), one of the mods will move this into the Under Construction forum. Shoring and excavation are considered part of the site prep phase. Seeing as this project has been in site prep for quite a while now, I'd imagine that we'll see foundation work start pretty soon.

This entire development is going to be massive. I still think that having townhouses on the podium instead of retail is a missed opportunity, but I'm just glad to see this large parking lot filled up.
