Major player backed out (hopefully can be persuaded to re-commit) so it seems Option 2 is up front which is beyond disappointing.

Glad to see they changed to look a bit! The new architecture is a better fit for the area and will age well!

Looks like a pretty aggressive schedule for the new Charity RFQ and RFP:

If they would just connect that lower level to Broad rob Earhart a lot of access issues would go away. The only think in the way are railroad tracks to my knowledge. It would probably ease a lot of the traffic volumes on Euphrosine and S Dupre.

I’ve always thought making a diamond interstate exit (like at Bonnabel) at Broad makes sense. It would really help the retail on Broad with that type of access and might reduce traffic on other exits in the CBD and Carrollton.

Not sure I understand the "Two Saints" concept. It states it's "essentially adult dorm rooms where each renter has their own room and bath room, but share common areas and amenities."

I've read several articles, but am still unsure if this is aimed at young people, senior citizens, low income, or who?

After living in dorms at college, and with certain people I couldn't stand, I'm not sure I would like this. I guess some people would love it.

I like the appearance of both this building and The Julia. The concept photos of The Julia at night look great.

Curbed recently had an interesting article about fast food restaurant design and how they're all moving toward...actual architecture for lack of a better phrase. The new Chicago flagship McDonald's is pretty cool.

interesting.. and at least if these places are going to dot the landscape, it would be nice if they were actually attractive too

I think the real appeal is that they provide everything for you but your clothes... so for people who need to be here for short periods of time that can be appealing.. no need to open up accounts for power or anything like that, no need to move much and they can move to another facility in the network with 24 hours notice. The four other cities in the network are Chicago, DC, NYC and Frisco
