Stampede Park would be a much better venue (at least from a city-promotion perspective).

Just a complete hypothetical here: if Calgary could manage to get a Grand Prix race, do you think it would be more or less successful then an Indy race? I know it's not exactly in the cards, but I was just wondering, considering the poor turnout at some of the international Grand Prix races, that it might be possible for Calgary to win one (that, and I prefer Grand Prix to Indy).

I think a GP would have a higher attendance but I'm not sure if it would be more successful as an Indy race would need a lower attendance to be considered a success than a GP. A GP would be better attended but I'd be skeptical if it would be well attended enough. It would be wicked to see a GP race in Calgary.

I'd try to go to an Indy race but would deffo be there for a GP. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see one any time soon as F1 is so political and money driven these days.
