2190 Halifax Dr. | 56m | 17f | Proposed

Urbandale proposes to construct a new 17 storey rental apartment building, containing 202 units, on the south west corner of their property at 2190 Halifax Drive. The remainder of the property contains two (2) 13storey rental buildings and 51 existing townhouse units in two separate clusters on the site.

Our favourite budget architect at work again.

It's 100% fine for this location.
I'm happy to see it.

Wow, people are being pretty snobby here, huh?

What's wrong with an affordable rental building?

No one has said anything to indicate they take issue with this being affordable rentals. Rather, they take issue with the aesthetics, as it's another boring, grey, slab highrise. You can building social housing projects that look nice without spending too much.
