You're making good progress, the city is starting to look really big. I'd like to see more height variation in the skyline, though. The layout looks quite realistic.

Keep the updates coming. And also give us a render once in a while.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I agree with you with the height variation, I hopethat with the new low and mid heights districts the skyline would look better, and if you want I will do some more renders, i just need to find good shots!

This is a small update, I have advanced the industrial district and started making a new district, the buildings on the left are part of Costanery, the ones closer are part of the new district, I think it would be like a Chinatown or Little Italy styled district.

I have a new update!! In these 45 minutes aproximated, I textured the builings I had shown you,and also called the new District Chile Square, (as the city is based in Santiago, I asked myself, why not?)where you can find windowed and glass buildings

These are the signs I made for the entrances

This is a street view of costanery, as you can see there's a lot of shops ( I think I will add more detailes later)

Nice additions to the city. I especially like the industrial area with the airport.

Nice! I like the layout of the new district. The city feels really modern in the render.

Thanks! New photos! the first one is the new cheap departments buildings I had shown to you, the second is about a new district I started, it would be a Soho district, with restaurants, cinemas, bars, and other enertaining buisness. I have also made some new buildings info sheets.

I'm looking forward to seeing how big this city will get. It is already quite large.

finally I could finish texturing the Soho like district which is called (NoDis for north district) and thee cheap district called Lackton, also made two suburbs neighbourhoods, Sainborough and Greenheights, and made some landcape. The urbanization of the city is over, it is getting difficul to add buildings since the size of the city is very large and it is having a lot of bugs. I also made the final district map; i think i will make a tourist map and a street map later.

NoDis

Lackton

I believe the land is not occupied. They throw missiles from that peninsula. Then North of that Big Sur begins.
Nice spot, I must say I've thought of building a city in that precise military base myself.

I found it by chance, I made the terrain layer of the city without thinking in a real location, then I decided it would be in California and searched for a place similar to the one I made

Altogether very solid work. If you're abandoning this city because of the fact that model is too big for your computer to handle, then I'm eagerly waiting for your next city.

Yep, the best have had the problem Vellu's referring to. Maybe adjoining cities, like Regions, and some photoshopping could create the illusion of a bigger unified city using multiple skp files. archivos multiples, una ciudad.

Before I completly abbandon the project I'll like to make some more off SU details to make it as realistic as possible. It's a good idea make the city in different files, but i think I won't do it now, maybe in a next city. Here is a street map of the city. (This is one of the details Im talking about)
