A bunch of my pics. First a photo à la Changing Vancouver with my pic on the left from Nov.23 & an early 1970's photo by Al Ingram from The City of Vancouver Archives on the right:

Nov.28

Dec.1

Dec.2

Roedde House designed in 1893 by Francis Rattenbury has outlasted its neighbouring giant:

Dec.5

Dec.8

Great pics!

I really like this project, same for the other project at 1450 West Georgia street, definitely some nice improvements.

Yeah, goes to show how much a "crown" at the top adds to the look of a building.

That White Spot is a piece of nostalgia for me. Have been going there since I was a kid. When we fly down we usually get lunch there after we grab our hotel.

It is, and always has been the best White Spot in existence

Let's make Robson(East) & Alberni(West) one way again, with reduced car lanes and an expanded pedestrian sidewalk.

Redo the streetscape, spruce it up

Make Robson Great Again

I like that location, newer one.

But I think you're referring to the true nostalgic White Spot for many British Columbians, Georgia and Cardero

Gonna be a sad day once it's gone

I assume the scaffolding was brought down during the windstorm and not because they're stopping the demolition?
