No worries, almost everyone's fav's are skewed heavily towards where they live. Which only makes sense since this is a list of whats your favorite(not best) project.

Just what exactly is so "gross" about it?
Anyhow, ranking the approval's and proposal’s together;
1. Aura
2. 1 Bloor
(BOW)
3. Go Electrification
4. STIQ
5. L Tower
6. Eglinton Crosstown
7. 40 Scott
8. HSR Ont-Que
9. Shangri-la
10. Union Station

(Ritz Vancouver)
15. Port Mann Bridge
16. Parkside, East waterfront
17. Cumberland Terrace
18. Leviathan
19. Human Rights Museum, Winnipeg (u/c)
A very intriguing structure that definitely deserves recognition

20. Waldorf Astoria

21. Emerald Park
22. Theater Park (proposed) (515ft tall)
Would rank it a little higher but for fear of the 'cheaping' i.e. I'd like to see if those horizontal bands will stay as is and how they will actually integrate them with the building.

23. Red River Expansion, Winnipeg (u/c)
One of the largest civil engineering projects in the world and yet you rarely hear about it. It will protect Winnipeg from a one in 700 hundred year storm.
24. Go Transit 2-way service, all lines and 30 min Lakeshore Service (u/c)
Technically not 'construction' itself but requires much construction system wide. Will provide much need service increases to all lines which will give commuters a true alternative to car use.
25. Skye, Halifax (proposed)
Actually, in all fairness to any Canadian city, including Toronto with Aura, these 2 would be the biggest single project addition to a skyline in a Canadian city, imo. Unfortunately, there's a fairly strong chance they'll get shortened, hopefully not by much while still retaining the eye catching curve.

26. Burrard Gateway, Vancouver (535ft tall) (proposed)
Currently Vancouver's tallest proposal(which is likely to be built) has interesting design features, such as its facade and massing.

27. Lower Churchill Hydroelectric Project, Newfoundland (u/c)
The country single biggest new power project currently under construction. The 1st phase(of 2) alone is expected to cost 6.2 billion dollars. This project will utilize the final 35% power potential of the Churchill falls basin producing 2250 MW or enough power for about 1.5 million people!
28. United Gulf Towers aka Twisted Sisters, Halifax (proposal)
Another gem from Halifax, I prefer these to the King's wharf proposal although that one's nice too. Now this is how you do mid-rises really right;

29. Keephills 3 Generating Plant, Alberta (u/c)
Of all things, I have a coal powerplant on my list? But its not just any coal power plant. Its a 'super-critical' unit which will provide 450MW of energy with a 24% reduction in emissions over the previous generation. But more importantly, is because CO2 sequestration, Carbon Capture and Storage, will be employed at the plant in the future. It, along with the Swan Hills Syngas Project, will be the two biggest CO2 sequestration projects in Canada and a model for future projects.
30. Big Becky, Niagara Falls (u/c)
A 10.2 km long tunnel that will be 12.7m wide, making one of the biggest tunnels ever built in North America.
Can’t stop, here's another 20 more to make it a top 50;
In no order;
-All subway and LRT extensions across the country
-BC Place, Vancouver - it doesn't makes people list's probably because they don't know about it, personally I never even heard about it until this thread. Now that I do, I have it on the list, just not high up simply because stadiums don't interest me as much as skyscrapers and major transit projects
-The Private Residences at Hotel Georgia, Vancouver
-Marriott Courtyard Hotel, Montreal
-Bell Centre, Montreal - looks at lot like MLS in Toronto which design wise isn't very excited, but that height sure is
-AMT electrification, Montreal - wasn't even aware that they were planning this but any electrification project is worthy of notation
-Mackenzie Pipeline
-King's Wharf, Halifax
-Winnipeg airport
-Parkside, Mississauga - entire project
-Lakeview, Mississauga - close to home
-Hulmark, North York
-Windsor-Essex Parkway -when including the new boarder crossing which will be a future part of the project.
-Southcore Financial Centre - Delta Hotel
-117 Blue Jays Way
-Ryerson
-Aga Khan
-Pinnacle on Adelaide
-Parade - the circular tower and the skybridge only lol
-Toronto's new subway & street cars
