I wonder what the official NHL suspension dartboard will say about Torres' hit on Hossa?

These playoffs are a mess.

Took a study break to look through this thread, and I must say, some of the posts about the Canucks gave me a good chuckle. "Two sisters, no cup"? I saw that girl's shirt and thought, "Damn, that one's old." People have been slacking off on thinking of new insults for the Sedins. Never mind the fact that Daniel hasn't even played this series, or that "Henrika" came back from Brown's hit to play 3:21 in the offensive zone without even breaking a sweat (even bobbing his head to the stadium music).

Meh. I have very low expectations for tomorrow's game. If the Canucks win, great; if they don't, whatever. *shrug*

The Shanahammer has been busy this first round. Torres probably gets suspended for the remainder of the playoffs?

I missed the Torres hit, but I'm watching that game, so I'm sure I'll catch it soon.

also this is the hit on Hossa. Torres has been a dirty player his whole career. http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=W2mX7LqBGo4

That's the league for you, what goes around comes around. I guess Torres wanted payback for the Duncan Keith hit on Daniel Sedin.

That's irrelevant and you know it. I guess Keith hit Sedin because he wanted payback for Torres' hit a year ago when he was a Canuck.

Not. It's simply the way Torres plays. The way he's always played. He should take a page out of Cooke's playbook this season; he's really turned his play around from all the running around he's done over his career.

The Preds are for real & Pekka Rinne is on fire. This team is dangerous right now.

Torres's hit on Milan Michalek during the oilers run turned that series around for the oilers. It's what he does.

Other than him jumping i don't think it was that bad.

'Other than him jumping i don't think it was that bad.'

Should not have left his feet, but otherwise keep your head up Hossa.

Valid points. Always keep your head on a swivel.

I have to agree, as much as I dislike Torres. He's a dirty bugger, always has been - but I don't think this is suspension-worthy. It's charging, pure and simple. Yes, the refs missed the 2 minutes but beyond that I don't see this on par with the other shenanigans we've seen so far this month.

I can't wait to see what the NHL's "suspension dartboard" has to say about it.
